Green Disaster Proof Home Design & Construction
I would like to introduce GreenWorld Design and its concept for the future. We are a group of engineers, architects and designers who have made a commitment to design disaster proof residential and commercial structures that are built to withstand earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, forest fires, floods in addition to being rodent, termite, and mold proof. Our team takes into consideration each one of these factors when we design structures of the future. Our homes are powered by a combination of natural resources which when combined can offer the homeowner no utility bills and peace of mind for the future.
We have watched the news and seen many natural disasters kill families and wipe out communities recently. We have watched as elected officials ask for billions of taxpayer dollars in federal disaster relief money only to see them turn around and put back the same type of construction to be destroyed the next time disaster strikes.
Just to put this into perspective, a smartphone is upgraded in the matter of a few months to a year. In the automobile industry today’s cars can park themselves and tell you directions via GPS. Seat belts, air bags, crumple zones and backup cameras are safety features added over the years always with the customer in mind. Yet, how come the biggest investment you will make in your life, your home, has not improved vastly in hundreds of years? It takes many trees to build a home. These trees produce oxygen which is vital to human survival. Trees are a perfect natural resource. It takes many years to grow a tree and it takes only a half-hour to burn a home to the ground.
Our GreenWorld Design homes do not neccesitate the loss of hundreds of trees. We believe wood is a precious, beautiful, natural material to be used to add warmth and natural beauty to your home, if you so choose. We support its use for custom designed furniture, musical instruments, and works of art. No particle board, MDF or any material containing formaldehyde will used in the construction of your home.
GreenWorld Design also sees the rising energy costs as a direct
result of our unsustainable ways. Hydraulic fracturing is a perfect example of how we are currently trying to find unnatural ways to sustain our energy needs while at the expense of mother nature. The Army Corp of Engineers gives the current energy grid a “D”, meaning it is vulnerable to earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires and solar EMPs.
GreenWorld Design takes into consideration each of the following when designing your future home:
Be virtually indestructible
Be healthy for its occupants
Be without any energy bills
Most importantly, have a zero carbon footprint
GreenWorld Design solar homes will save the homeowner a great deal of cost in utility bills, over the 30 year life of an average mortgage. After the home is paid off you will still enjoy no monthly bills, leaving more money in your pocket for your family's education, retirement or travel. Today a traditional stick frame single family home has utility bills that average around $300 a month. The rise of the cost of energy is on average .06% a year. So, if you are paying $300 a month now, at the end of your mortgage your monthly bill could be the equivalent to $3,000 for utilities in your golden years.
GreenWorld Design spares no expense. Only the best, long- lasting, natural materials are used in every home we design and build. GreenWorld also thought about the current HUD and senior housing shortages. We believe we can put families in safe, healthy, affordable solar housing which would have a zero-carbon footprint and keep residents warm in the winter and cool in the summer while saving the taxpayers $300 a month, on average, for every family and senior citizen across the country.
After years of development and selection of only the finest materials, it turns out GreenWorld LEED certified homes cost a little bit more than a traditional stick built home. The difference is you are getting a virtually indestructible, healthy solar home while enjoying the benefits of saving money on your utilities. Insurance companies all have figures that show acceptable losses of life and property in the event of disaster. Our team at GreenWorld Design believe there is no acceptable number for the loss of lives or property. Each and every human being has the right to live with peace of mind when they are at home. The choice is yours. Help us build a new GreenWorld for all to enjoy, one home at a time!
GreenWorld Design can design and construct a stand alone zero-energy green disaster proof home of your dreams. GreenWorld Design utilizes a monolithic concrete building system in all our buildings designs because of the high insulating quality and easy construction.
GreenWorld Design Vision
This country has been constructing stick-built structures and its time has come and gone. People lose their life in fires and whole neighborhoods go up in flames. Hurricanes and tornadoes take out whole towns where many lives are lost. And then the government has to pay out billions to replace these homes or relocate people to where there are no jobs. Our tax dollars are being spent only to have these stick built homes suffer the same effects the next time disaster strikes.
Help GreenWorld Design spread our vision for the future of our planet.
These homes can be built, in one-third the time and will last forever, plus put an end for the need for oil, coal or nuclear power. The existing power plants can handle the infrastructure without building more plants that will add carbon to the air and tax us even more.
